Our Method

Six Steps to
a Perfect Carpet

Every carpet made at Deepak Carpets passes through six carefully managed stages of production — all carried out in-house, under one roof in Bhadohi.

This full vertical integration means we never outsource quality control. Each transition between stages is a checkpoint — ensuring that what reaches our customer is exactly what was promised.

01
Design & Planning

Every project begins with dialogue. Our team works with clients to develop or refine designs — from traditional carpet motifs to entirely original contemporary concepts. We translate sketches, references, and mood boards into a production-ready design plan.

02
Weaving

Skilled artisans bring designs to life on the loom or tufting frame. Whether hand-tufted, hand-woven, or handloom, our craftspeople carry deep generational knowledge of their technique. Weaving is the heart of the entire process — where raw yarn becomes the finished pattern.

Hand-tufting: pattern-guided yarn placement through primary backing
Hand-weaving: traditional loom construction with interlaced warp and weft
Constant in-process checks for pattern accuracy and pile consistency

03
Latexing

After weaving, latex is applied to the back of the carpet to lock in the pile and provide structural stability. This process requires controlled temperature and humidity. Our PVC-based greenhouse setup allows us to perform latexing efficiently regardless of external weather conditions — a key advantage in consistent quality delivery.

04
Binding

Once the carpet body is complete, edges are carefully secured according to the required construction and end-use. Proper binding protects the carpet structure, improves longevity, and gives every piece a clean, durable edge finish.

05
Finishing

At this stage, each carpet is clipped and surface-finished to achieve the intended visual character, texture, and pile consistency. This is where craftsmanship defines the final look and feel of every piece.

QC, Packaging & Dispatch

After finishing, every piece passes through thorough quality control inspection, professional packaging, and dispatch from our warehouse. Each carpet is reviewed against the original specification before shipment.

Quality Assurance

Built-In
Quality

In-Process Checks

Quality is reviewed at every stage — not just at the end. Problems are caught early and corrected before they compound.

Dimensional Accuracy

Every finished piece is measured against the specified dimensions before dispatch. Size tolerance is maintained to the highest commercial standards.

Colour Consistency

Colour fastness and consistency across a production batch is monitored from dye lot through to finished piece — critical for large-scale commercial orders.

Export Packaging

Carpets are rolled, wrapped, and packed to withstand international shipping. Custom labelling and documentation for all export consignments.
