Deepak Carpets manufactures and exports handmade carpets, rugs, and floor coverings from Bhadohi, India. All products displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes. Actual product specifications, dimensions, and colours may vary based on your customisation requirements and natural material characteristics.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update product offerings at any time without prior notice.

3. Orders & Pricing

Quotations

All price quotations provided by Deepak Carpets are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in raw material costs, labour, or currency exchange rates.

Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed only upon receipt of a written purchase order and the agreed advance payment. We reserve the right to decline any order at our sole discretion.

Customisation

Bespoke and custom orders require a signed specification sheet and advance payment before production commences. Changes to specifications after production begins may incur additional charges.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our standard payment terms are:

• 50% advance payment at the time of order confirmation
• Balance 50% prior to shipment or as agreed upon
• All payments in USD, EUR, or INR as mutually agreed
• Bank transfer (TT/Wire) is our preferred payment method

Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in suspension of orders or shipments until the outstanding balance is settled.

5. Delivery & Shipping

Delivery timelines are provided as estimates and are not guaranteed. Lead times depend on order complexity, quantity, customisation requirements, and production schedules. Typical production and delivery timelines will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

Risk of loss and title to goods passes to the buyer upon handover to the freight forwarder or carrier, unless otherwise specified in the sales agreement. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or force majeure events.

6. Quality & Returns

Quality Assurance

All our products undergo thorough quality checks before dispatch. We are Sedex and Higg Index certified, reflecting our commitment to ethical and quality standards in manufacturing.

Claims & Defects

Any claims regarding defects, shortages, or damage must be raised in writing within 7 days of receiving the goods, accompanied by photographic evidence. We will investigate all legitimate claims and work towards a fair resolution.

Returns

Due to the custom and handmade nature of our products, returns are not accepted unless the product is defective or does not match the agreed specification. Approved returns must be pre-authorised and shipped freight prepaid.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, logos, and product photographs — is the property of Deepak Carpets and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Deepak Carpets.

Custom designs created for buyers remain the property of the buyer upon full payment. We retain the right to display such designs in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deepak Carpets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability to any buyer shall not exceed the value of the goods sold under the relevant order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use our website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content via our contact forms
